Zhou Decai, male, Professor and Doctoral Supervisor. He has been honored as a National Baosteel Outstanding Teacher, an Exemplary Teacher for Education and Nurturing at Nanchang University, and a Distinguished Teaching Professor. He serves as the Dean of Jiangxi Institute of Statistical Innovation and is the leader of several academic and professional programs including the doctoral and master's programs in first-level discipline of Statistics, national first-class undergraduate program in Finance and Jiangxi Provincial High-level Undergraduate Teaching Team.

He concurrently serves as a review expert for the National Social Science Fund of China, Jiangxi Provincial Social Science Fund, and Jiangxi Provincial Natural Science Fund. He is also a council member of the Jiangxi Statistical Society and the Jiangxi Provincial Union of Non-Party Personages, as well as a peer reviewer for journals such as The Journal of Quantitative & Technical Economics.

In recent years, his research has focused on the construction and application of financial indices, financial market risk analysis, and monetary policy analysis. He has presided over 2 projects funded by the National Social Science Fund of China, 8 ministerial-level projects (including those from the Ministry of Education), and 6 Jiangxi Provincial Social Science Fund projects.

As the first author, he has published more than 30 academic papers in journals including The Journal of Quantitative & Technical Economics, Journal of Applied Statistics and Management, Systems Engineering - Theory & Practice, Management Review, and Nankai Economic Studies. He has independently published 4 academic monographs and edited 3 textbooks. His taught courses include Finance, Financial Econometrics, and Applications of Artificial Intelligence in Economics and Management.

His academic and teaching achievements have been recognized with numerous awards, including 1 National Teaching Achievement Award (ranked 11th), 3 First Prizes (ranked 1st) and 1 Second Prize (ranked 1st) of Jiangxi Provincial Teaching Achievement Awards, and 2 Second Prizes (ranked 1st) and 2 Third Prizes (ranked 1st) of Jiangxi Provincial Social Science Outstanding Achievement Awards.
