Tian Xi, male, Distinguished Professor and Doctoral Supervisor, serves as Deputy Dean of the Graduate School of Nanchang University and Director of the Green, Low-carbon and Circular Digital-Intelligent Simulation Laboratory, Communication Review Expert for General Programs of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and Communication Review Expert of China Scholarship Council.

In recent years, his research has focused on the green and low-carbon transformation of resource recycling systems. He has presided over 3 projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (including 1 General Program, 1 Regional Program, and 1 Young Scientists Fund) and more than 10 provincial and ministerial-level research projects such as Jiangxi Provincial Key Research and Development Programs.

As the first author or corresponding author, he has published over 40 academic papers in Chinese and English in renowned domestic and international journals including Renewable and Sustainable Energy Reviews, Resources, Conservation and Recycling, Environmental Impact Assessment Review, and China Population, Resources and Environment. Among these, approximately 30 papers were published in SCI/SSCI Q1 journals with an average impact factor of around 10. He has authored 1 monograph, served as associate editor for 2 textbooks, and obtained 2 invention patents and 7 software copyrights. Four of his policy consulting reports have received affirmative instructions from provincial leaders.

He teaches courses including New Structural Resource and Environmental Economics, Ecological Economics, and Resources, Environment and Circular Economy, several of which have been launched on national MOOC platforms. He was selected into the first batch of National Model Teachers and Teaching Teams for Ideological and Political Education in Courses by the Ministry of Education. He has received 1 Special Prize and 1 Second Prize of Jiangxi Provincial Teaching Achievement Award, as well as 1 First Prize and 1 Second Prize of Jiangxi Provincial Social Science Achievement Award.
