The National Finals of the 16th National University Business Elite Challenge International Trade Competition concluded at the Ningbo International Convention and Exhibition Center on May 24th. Two teams from SEM-- team of Chinese students representing "Nanchang CeraScent Trading Co., Ltd." and team of international students representing "Arzella Argan"-- both won the First Prize.

SEM has always adhered to a student-centered approach, deeply implementing the OBE (Outcome-Based Education) philosophy. By designing curricula and teaching processes in reverse based on the learning outcomes students are expected to achieve, we continuously optimize the integration of practical teaching and academic competitions. This is aimed at enhancing students' professional competence, innovative abilities, and capacity to solve complex business problems. The prize claimed by our students is a vivid testament to the successful implementation of OBE principles and the deepening of educational reform. The solid professional foundation and excellent teamwork demonstrated by the students fully reflect our school's achievements in cultivating high-quality, versatile business talents.

This year marked the first time SEM organized an international student team to participate in this competition. Their immediate success in winning a national First Prize represents a historic breakthrough and fully demonstrates the significant achievements of our school's international education efforts. Over the years, SEM has placed great emphasis on cultivating practical abilities and innovative thinking among international students, actively building high-level academic competition and cross-cultural exchange platforms. These initiatives help international students enhance their professional skills, integrate into the Chinese business environment, and strengthen their international competitiveness. The team's outstanding performance in such a highly competitive field serves as strong proof of SEM's success in cultivating globally-oriented talent, while also injecting new vitality into Sino-foreign cultural exchange and integration.

This year's competition attracted over 2,500 students of 391 teams from 186 universities in 26 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities. The competition is known for its large scale, strong practical orientation, and high industry recognition, making it one of the most influential and authoritative high-level academic competitions in the field of international trade in China.
