2025 4th ASIA INTERNATIONAL FINANCE CONFERENCE

The Asia International Finance Conference (AIFC) is jointly initiated by Nanchang University and the Asia-Pacific Applied Economics Association (APAEA). Since its first edition in 2022, the conference has become an important platform for international academic exchange and cooperation in the financial field, committed to promoting the cutting-edge development of global financial theory and practice. The School of Economics and Management at Nanchang University, as the main organizer of the conference, has provided solid academic and organizational support for its successful implementation.
The 4th AIFC will be held in Nanchang, China, from July 12 to 13, 2025. The global financial landscape is changing rapidly, with countries facing opportunities and challenges such as digital finance, green finance, and financial globalization. Against this complex and ever-changing backdrop, and in line with the spirit of the Central Financial Work Conference, we will focus on financial innovation and sustainable development in the new era, and promote in-depth exchanges among the academic community, industry practitioners, and policymakers. Through rich keynote speeches, academic discussions, and research presentations, participants will jointly explore the current and future trends and strategies for financial development, and promote in-depth exchanges and cooperation in global financial research. We warmly invite financial scholars to gather in Nanchang, the heroic city, in July to jointly promote academic innovation and development in the international financial field, to contribute to the construction of a strong financial nation in China, and to contribute wisdom and strength to the modernization with Chinese characteristics.
The conference themes cover a wide range of financial research topics in the Asia-Pacific and global regions, including behavioral finance, corporate finance, financial markets and institutions, financial regulation and policy, financial technology and innovation, household finance, international finance, sustainable finance, and more. The conference follows international conventions, with English as the primary language for communication. Special sessions are also set up for papers related to the Chinese market.

PUBLICATION OPPORTUNITY:
There are 8 supporting journals for this conference, including International Review of Finance (IRF), Journal of Accounting Literature (JAL), Pacific-Basin Finance Journal (PBFJ), Emerging Markets Finance and Trade (EMFT), China Finance Review International (CFRI), Journal of Systems Science and Information (JSSI), Systems Engineering - Theory & Practice, and Journal of Nanchang University (Humanities and Social Sciences Edition).
JAL has specially organized an AIFC Issue for this conference. Meanwhile, PBFJ has established a special issue themed “Interdisciplinary Research in Financial Economics” for the conference(https://www.sciencedirect.com/special-issue/319336/call-for-papers-for-a-special-issue-interdisciplinary-research-in-financial-economics). Only authors of papers presented at this conference will be invited to submit to the above special issues. The submission portal for the special issues will officially open on August 15, 2025, and detailed submission requirements will be announced after the conference.
In addition, papers accepted for the China-specific sessions will have the opportunity to be recommended to relevant Chinese-language journals and will follow their standard review processes. All invited submissions will be rigorously reviewed in accordance with the journals' double-blind review policies. Please note that presenting a paper at the conference does not guarantee eventual publication.
