Ping Weiying, female, PhD in Statistics, Professor and Doctoral Supervisor. She concurrently serves as Vice President of the China Statistical Education Society, Vice President of the National Industrial Statistics Teaching Research Association, President of the Young Economic Statisticians Branch of the China Statistical Education Society, and Standing Director of the China Statistical Association.

In recent years, she has mainly engaged in research in the fields of agricultural and rural issues, as well as national economic accounting. She has presided over 4 projects of the National Social Science Fund of China, including major, key and youth projects, and 19 other projects, such as general projects of the National Statistical Science Research, projects of the Humanities and Social Sciences Research of the Ministry of Education, themed case projects of the Degree and Postgraduate Education Development Center of the Ministry of Education, projects of the 7th National Population Census of the province, key projects of the Provincial Social Science Planning, and general projects of scientific and technological research of the Provincial Department of Education.

As the first author, she has published more than 70 academic papers in journals including Management World, Chinese Rural Economy, The Journal of Quantitative & Technical Economics, and Statistical Research. She has published 8 academic monographs and edited 3 textbooks. The courses she teaches include Statistics, National Economic Accounting, Macroeconomic Statistical Analysis, Research Methods of Economic Statistics, Enterprise Operation Statistics, Social Conditions and Public Opinion Surveys, and Hot Issues of China's Social Economy. She has won 11 awards for Jiangxi Provincial Education and Teaching Achievements and 6 awards for Jiangxi Provincial Social Science Achievements.
