Industrial Engineering Research Series: "Peer Mentorship · Passing on Experience" Sharing Session Successfully Held
To help students stimulate their interest in scientific research, lay a solid foundation in their majors, and clarify their development directions, the "Peer Mentorship · Passing on Experience" Sharing Session of the Industrial Engineering Research Series was successfully held in Room B340, Zhihua Building, on the evening of September 28th, through a combination of online and offline formats. The event was organized and initiated by Associate Professor Li Zhipeng, and featured four outstanding fourth-year students including Dai Lijuan, He Zhiquan, Han Zongyuan, and Xu Likai, as keynote speakers. Students from the Industrial Engineering program, as well as many interested in academic research and professional practice, actively attended the session.

At the sharing session, four senior students combined their own experiences in professional cultivation, academic exploration, competition practice, and industry application to clearly dissect the development of scientific research thinking and academic planning ideas during their university years, bringing practical and detailed experience sharing. Dai Lijuan, who has been admitted to Southeast University for postgraduate studies, focused on the topics of postgraduate studies and professional learning. She systematically sorted out the learning paths and GPA improvement techniques for key and difficult courses, guiding junior students to build a solid theoretical foundation for their majors and establish academic goals for further studies as early as possible. He Zhiquan, a student who has been admitted to Northeastern University for postgraduate studies, focused on practical experience in subject competitions and comprehensive assessment bonus points. Combining his own experience in writing empirical academic papers and leading innovation projects, he detailed the preparation ideas of using competitions to promote learning and research, and systematically sorted out the bonus points rules for comprehensive assessments to help everyone improve their comprehensive strength through multi-dimensional scientific research competitions.

In terms of technology frontier exploration and industrial practice application, Han Zongyuan, combining his practical training experience in Wanxing Technology, Meitu and other Internet companies, preferred product research and development practices in the frontier direction, such as AI content creation tools, AI big models going global, and vividly expounded how to transform the landing of cutting-edge technology into the ability to solve practical problems, and focused on explaining practice information collection and core competitiveness cultivation. Xu Likai, who holds multiple R&D and technology offers from renowned companies, has deeply rooted herself in industrial engineering and applied it to physical industries. She has conducted in-depth analysis of the ability requirements for core technical positions such as IE engineer and quality engineer, and shared valuable experience on how to combine professional methodology with production practice, guiding everyone to make long-term career plans based on their professional expertise.

During the on-site interactive session, the attending students actively asked questions, and the keynote speakers patiently answered and clarified questions one by one regarding their concerns about scientific research basics, competition topics, academic balance, and future development. This experience exchange meeting is based on the academic research and growth needs of students, and has built an efficient communication and interaction platform in the form of peer assistance, effectively helping everyone broaden their academic horizons and clarify their development ideas. In the future, the industrial engineering major will continue to rely on a series of scientific research exchange activities, establish a comprehensive and multi-level academic guidance and development guidance platform on a regular basis, create a strong academic innovation atmosphere, and help students steadily advance in scientific research exploration and professional practice.
