Program Overview
The Master of Finance (MF) program was approved in 2016 as a professional degree program without specific research sub-directions. It is recognized as a key discipline and a first-class discipline in Jiangxi Province. The program is characterized by its research focus on the construction and application of financial indices, asset pricing theory and its applications, and corporate financial behavior and its outcomes. It has undertaken and completed multiple national-level projects and has received several Jiangxi Provincial Outstanding Achievement Awards in Social Sciences. Over 40 papers have been published in prestigious journals such as Management Science and Journal of Financial Research. Adhering to the fundamental principle of cultivating both moral integrity and professional competence, the program aims to train high-level, application-oriented financial professionals with a solid foundation in economics, finance, and accounting theory, an innovative and enterprising spirit, and the ability to excel in finance-related positions with strong practical skills.

1. Leveraging the supporting role of leading disciplines to cultivate comprehensive competencies. Building on the disciplinary strengths of Applied Economics, which has been recognized as a provincial key discipline for 15 years and a provincial first-class discipline for 3 years, the program effectively supports the cultivation of well-rounded professional capabilities.
2. Integrating financial and accounting training systems to enhance professional proficiency. Capitalizing on the integrated resources of economics and management, the program combines training in finance and accounting, fostering advanced talents equipped with expertise in both fields.
3. Systematically establishing a social service system to strengthen service capabilities. The program has established multiple collaborative education platforms under the Ministry of Education and regional think tanks, enhancing its capacity to serve government agencies and enterprises.
