Program Overview:

The overall training objective of the Micro-Credential in Innovation and Entrepreneurship is to cultivate interdisciplinary talents who practice core socialist values, possess social responsibility, innovative spirit, and entrepreneurial awareness, and adapt to the needs of the innovation-driven development strategy. These talents should master innovation and entrepreneurship theories and practical methods, be proficient in key skills such as business opportunity identification, business model design, and entrepreneurial management, and have innovative thinking, risk awareness, resource integration capabilities, team collaboration spirit, and leadership. They should be competent in innovation management, entrepreneurship incubation, product development, and other work in fields such as technology-based enterprises, entrepreneurship service institutions, and emerging industries.

This program has no prerequisite knowledge requirements and is suitable for current undergraduate students both on and off campus.


Main Courses:

1. Innovative Thinking and Methods

(Schedule: Spring Semester 2025-2026, classes held in the evening or on weekends; specific time to be determined based on the actual situation of the semester. Venue: Qianhu North Campus)

This is a foundational course which aims to cultivate students' innovative thinking and impart innovative methods, with a focus on teaching the basics of innovation, innovative thinking, and innovative techniques.

By exploring the process of innovative thinking and revealing its essence, the course systematically organizes existing innovative thinking methods and theories from both domestic and international sources. Based on this, it guides students through training content that helps them learn and apply these methods. It also encourages students to consciously use innovative thinking for selection, planning, creativity, design, and problem-solving, thereby enhancing their ability to innovate and create in study, life, and work.

Through this course, students will gain an understanding of the theories, laws, approaches, and methods of innovation, strengthen their awareness of innovation, and improve their innovative capabilities.


2. Business Planning

(Schedule: Fall Semester 2025-2026, classes held in the evening or on weekends; specific time to be determined based on the actual situation of the semester. Venue: Qianhu North Campus)

This is a core course covering not only theoretical introductions but also practical training on the development and presentation of business plans. It includes nearly 60 knowledge points, 10 modules, several case studies, in-class discussion questions, and practical tools and methods.

By guiding entrepreneurs and college students to understand the essence of business plans, master the principles and steps of business plan development, and become proficient in business plan presentation and communication, the course aims to achieve the educational goals of "shaping business planning thinking, enhancing innovation and entrepreneurship capabilities, and fostering entrepreneurial spirit and a sense of national pride and responsibility".

Adhering to the teaching philosophy of "fostering virtue through education", the course organically integrates professional knowledge with ideological and political education. During the teaching process, ideological and political elements are subtly incorporated to stimulate students' sense of responsibility and national pride, cultivate innovation and entrepreneurship spirit, and play a guiding role in establishing correct outlooks on life and values.


3. Innovation and Entrepreneurship for AI

(Schedule: Fall Semester 2025-2026, classes held in the evening or on weekends; specific time to be determined based on the actual situation of the semester. Venue: Qianhu North Campus)

This is a featured core course focusing on "the integration of AI technology with innovation and entrepreneurship practice". It aims to help students understand cutting-edge AI technology trends, identify the connection between AI technology and commercial value, seize entrepreneurial opportunities in the AI era, and learn to address various challenges encountered in AI-era entrepreneurship.

The course revolves around "Innovation and Entrepreneurship for AI: Theory, Cases, and Practice" and consists of four main parts:

1. AI Technology Basics and Entrepreneurial Ideas: Introduces common AI technologies such as large models, machine learning, and computer vision, explains suitable business scenarios for different AI technologies, and teaches students how to select entrepreneurial directions based on technical characteristics.

2. Key Theories of AI Entrepreneurship: Covers topics like identifying AI entrepreneurial opportunities and risk prevention in AI entrepreneurship to solidify students’ theoretical foundation.

3. Analyzes successful cases and failed ones, combining typical domestic and international AI entrepreneurial projects to guide students in examining key factors of project success or failure from multiple perspectives (technology, business, team, and resources).

4. Focuses on "simulating real entrepreneurial scenarios", requiring students to complete a comprehensive AI entrepreneurial project framework plan and apply knowledge learned to practical operations.


4. Entrepreneurship and Entrepreneurial Spirit

(Schedule: Fall Semester 2025-2026, classes held in the evening or on weekends; specific time to be determined based on the actual situation of the semester. Venue: Qianhu North Campus)

Based on practical innovation and entrepreneurial spirit, this course enables students to master a series of knowledge and capabilities, including methods for identifying innovative opportunities, principles for developing ideas into viable ventures, policies and measures for nurturing entrepreneurial spirit, organizational and staffing strategies for entrepreneurial institutions, and techniques for successfully introducing innovations to the market and gaining market share—ultimately enhancing the quality of students’ entrepreneurship.

Through knowledge education centered on basic ideas, concepts, theories, and methods of innovation and entrepreneurial spirit, as well as preliminary ability training in applying such knowledge to analyze and solve specific problems in entrepreneurship management, teachers help students understand the value of innovation and entrepreneurial spirit in entrepreneurship, gain insights into theoretical frontiers and development trends, integrate more effective innovative elements into entrepreneurial opportunity selection and startups growth.


5. Entrepreneurial Marketing

(Schedule: Spring Semester 2025-2026, classes held in the evening or on weekends; specific time to be determined based on the actual situation of the semester. Venue: Qianhu North Campus)

This course focuses on the challenges of market entry and growth for startups under resource constraints, systematically constructing a new entrepreneurial marketing knowledge system centered on "discovering market opportunities, creating customer value, and achieving effective growth".

Teaching closely follows the practical process of entrepreneurial marketing, covering core modules such as: building entrepreneurial marketing thinking, insight into entrepreneurial market opportunities, entrepreneurial market research, entrepreneurial STP strategy selection, entrepreneurial marketing strategy planning, innovation of entrepreneurial marketing mix strategies, and writing entrepreneurial marketing plans. The course will fully utilize local cases and adopt a "case discussion + project practice" teaching model, guiding students to work in groups to conduct full-process planning for real entrepreneurial projects and ultimately complete and present a feasible entrepreneurial marketing plan.

The course aims to comprehensively enhance students’ abilities in market insight, strategy planning, and creative execution, cultivate their entrepreneurial marketing thinking to cope with uncertain environments, and lay a solid foundation for future entrepreneurial practice or career development.


6. Entrepreneurial Financing

(Course Schedule: Spring Semester 2025-2026, classes held in the evening or on weekends; specific time to be determined based on the actual situation of the semester. Venue: Qianhu North Campus)

This course systematically teaches the entire process of financing for startups. It covers internal preparations before financing (e.g., equity structure, financial forecasting), understanding financing channels at different stages (e.g., Angel Investment, Venture Capital), core skills in the financing process (e.g., valuation, business plan writing, roadshow presentation), and post-financing management. Through real case studies, simulated negotiations, and project practice, students will master key knowledge and practical skills for securing funds needed for business development.


7. Mentorship for Entrepreneurship

(Schedule: Spring Semester 2025-2026, classes held in the evening or on weekends; specific time to be determined based on the actual situation of the semester. Venue: Qianhu North Campus)

This is a theoretical course highly condensed with practical experience from entrepreneurial mentors’ incubation work. It abandons empty theories, condenses diverse incubation experiences from battle-tested successful entrepreneurs, investors, and senior experts, and popularizes a set of market-verified basic theories on scientific entrepreneurial thinking and processes.

The course aims to cultivate students to systematically recognize real problems encountered in key links of entrepreneurial projects (from 0 to 1, then to N), such as strategic positioning, product development, marketing, team building, and financing negotiations. It enables students to quickly acquire basic cognition for incubating entrepreneurial projects and greatly improve entrepreneurs’ success rates.
